Compendium of education opportunities for youth workers

This compendium of education and training opportunities is the project’s first intellectual output. Its purpose is to provide an overview of the historical development and current state of youth work training and education in Estonia, Ireland, North Macedonia and Wales. The compendium also serves as a basis for developing the project’s second intellectual output.

The contents of the compendium is available in the different sections of this web page: “Case studies“, “Comparisons” and “Conclusions“. Additionally, the whole document can be downloaded in the “Resources” section of the page.

Lead authors of the compendium are Dr Duncan Holtom and Dr Howard Williamson from the partner People and Work Unit from Wales.

Contributions came from Lianne Teder from Tallinn University, Janice McGarry and Niamh Smith from Beyond 96 Youth Club, and Biljana Vasilevska – Trajkoska and Dragan Atanasov from Union for Youth Work.
